KINGS OF PERGAMON. Eumenes I, 263-241 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31 mm, 17.18 g, 1 h), Pergamon, circa 255/0-241. Laureate head of Philetairos to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΕΤΑΙΡΟΥ Athena enthroned left, resting her left elbow on shield and crowning dynastic name with a wreath held in her right hand; in background, transverse spear; to outer left, ivy leaf; in inner left field, Α; in field to right, bow. Westermark Group IVA, V.LII/R2 (this coin). Beautifully toned and with a fine pedigree. Minor marks on the obverse and with light deposits on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
